Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
In short: try Worship Scroll free for 7 days with no card. After that it's CA$29 a month or CA$290 a year for your whole church. Cancel anytime and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Your songs stay yours, and your church still needs its own CCLI or other song licence.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between your church or organization ("you") and Worship Scroll ("we", "us") for using worshipscrollapp.com and the Worship Scroll app (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of a church, you confirm you're allowed to do so.
2. Your account
- Each church uses one account, which its team members can share on their devices.
- You're responsible for everything done with your account, so share the password only with people you trust and change it when someone leaves your team.
- Give us a working email address so we can reach you about your account.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with every feature. No payment details are needed. When the trial ends, you'll need a subscription to keep using the app. Your songs and set lists stay saved, so you can subscribe later and pick up where you left off.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Plans: CA$29 per month or CA$290 per year, for your whole church. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes may be added.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the card on file is charged, until you cancel.
- Payments: handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Stripe will try again for a short time. If it still can't be collected, the subscription ends and you'll be asked to subscribe again.
- Price changes: we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect for your subscription. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel anytime in the app: open ☰ Menu → Subscription. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't give refunds for partial months or years, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us and we'll make it right.
6. Your content
- The songs, set lists and other content you add belong to you (or to their copyright owners). You give us permission to store and display them only to provide the service to you.
- Worship Scroll doesn't come with songs and doesn't give you a licence to use any song. You're responsible for having the right licences, such as CCLI, to display, project and copy the lyrics you use.
- Don't add content you don't have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or harmful.
7. Fair use of the service
Please don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access other churches' accounts, or resell the service. Some features have reasonable limits, such as the monthly number of chord-chart scans. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after telling you why when we reasonably can.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Worship Scroll running and improving, and the app keeps working offline once your set is loaded. But we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever stop offering the service, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your songs.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Worship Scroll at any time. To delete your account and its content, email us from the account's email address. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top and let account holders know by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
